Keep it Simple System

To Open an Account: Please contact one of our sales or customer service representatives at 201.896.9600 and request a credit application then return promptly via fax to 201.896.9190. Usually within 24 hours you will be issued an account number which should be used for all purchases.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

Check your order immediately upon arrival. If package was damaged or lost in transit, you must file a claim with the carrier. All shortages or damages to merchandise must be called into Kissler & Co. Inc. within 7 calendar days of merchandise receipt. All damaged containers and merchandise must be kept for inspection.

Returns

No merchandise will be accepted for return without prior written approval. Customer must obtain a Return Goods Authorization from by writing to sales@kissler.com. Please include your account number, Invoice Number, Date of Purchase and reason for return request. Return goods may be subject to a restocking fee.

Quotes

We offer quick and reliable pricing to all customers and these quotes remain good for 30 days from date of written quote. OEM products are subject to change without written or verbal notice. However we will make every attempt to do so. Our complete catalog price list is updated bi-monthly on our website at www.kissler.com and is subject to change without notice. All prices are quoted in US Dollars.

Catalog Errors

Although all information in this catalog has been carefully checked for accuracy, (including pricing) errors and omissions occasionally occur and therefore are subject to correction. We regret any inconvenience.

Warranties and Responsibility

General Merchandise Warranty: Except where noted, the only warranties applying to materials sold are those, if any, specifically provided by the manufacturer to be honored by the manufacturer. The value of the defective product or material is our only liability.

CA Prop 65 Warning

What is the Prop 65 Warning Label?

The label is a warning being provided by Kissler & Co., Inc. to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as “Proposition 65.” Many products sold in California are required by law to carry the label. The following example label is included on packaging for many Kissler & Co., Inc. products. (Note: label wording varies by product. for more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.)

We are providing Prop 65 warning labels simply to inform consumers that the product contains chemicals on the State of California’s Prop 65 list. Kissler & Co., Inc. products that carry the Prop 65 label include components made with brass, which contains small but detectible amounts of lead — an element included on the Prop 65 chemical list. Brass has a decades-long history of successful use in plumbing applications.

Even though a product may be found to contain a Proposition 65-listed chemical, it does not mean that use of the product will cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Nor does it mean that a product is unsafe. All Kissler & Co., Inc. products meet or exceed the requirements of applicable product performance and safety industry standards, as well as the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. We are confident there is no health hazard associated with the installation or removal of Kissler & Co., Inc. products.

What is California Proposition 65?

In 1986, California voters approved the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (known as “Proposition 65”). Proposition 65 is a “Right to Know” statute; it's purpose is to make sure people are aware, before they purchase, that the product they come into contact with contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. The statute requires a warning label even if the amount of the chemical is miniscule.

The State of California has listed over 900 chemicals that must be disclosed under Prop 65. The list, which is updated annually, includes a wide variety of chemicals that can be found in many consumer products, such as kitchen utensils, footwear and handbags, exercise equipment, photo albums, luggage, and many other products (even foods and beverages).

Why does Kissler & Co., Inc. include this warning on its products?

We are providing Prop 65 warning labels to inform consumers that the product contains chemicals on the State of California’s Prop 65 list. It does not mean that a product is unsafe. All Kissler & Co., Inc. products meet or exceed the requirements of applicable product performance and safety industry standards, as well as the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. The label simply ensures that Kissler & Co., Inc. is in compliance with the State of California’s Prop 65 law for warning label requirements.

Why is this label included on my faucet if I don’t live in California?

Kissler & Co., Inc. products are sold nationwide. It would be considerably complex to determine which products will be ultimately sold or brought into California. Therefore, to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements, we have decided to include these labels on applicable products, regardless of where they might be purchased or sold.
